Today, a team of nearly 20 sales professionals, service specialists, and leaders works together to serve thousands of customers across New Mexico.

Long before insurance, there was coaching.

Long before building one of the country’s leading Allstate agencies, Wyatt’s career began in health and fitness.

He worked as a personal trainer and certified nutritionist and helped operate and manage commercial gyms and GNC retail locations. Those early experiences shaped an approach to leadership centered around coaching, accountability, goal setting, and developing people, principles that remain central to how he leads The Mace Agencies today.

His career later expanded into mortgage lending, insurance, and financial services.

Wyatt is also a seasoned real estate investor, with years of experience acquiring, owning, and managing properties throughout Farmington, New Mexico, and Durango, Colorado.

That combination of experience across insurance, lending, real estate, sales, and business ownership gives Wyatt a perspective that extends well beyond the traditional role of an insurance agent.

His work in the industry extends past his own agency.

He is actively involved with C8, a national community of high-performing Allstate agency owners focused on collaboration, innovation, education, and raising the standard of agency ownership.

Wyatt coaches and consults with Allstate agency owners across the country, sharing strategies around sales, acquisitions, compensation, leadership, recruiting, operations, and agency growth.

He also helps organize and lead the C8 Conference, which brings together some of the country’s most ambitious agency owners to exchange ideas, challenge one another, and build stronger businesses.

For Wyatt, helping other agency owners grow has become a natural extension of building his own organization.

He is quick to credit the people who built it.

While Wyatt’s name may be attached to the organization, he is quick to credit its success to the people who have helped build it.

The Mace Agencies has assembled a team of talented insurance professionals and leaders capable of competing at the highest levels of the industry while maintaining the accessibility and accountability of a local agency.

From a single office in Farmington to approximately 18,000 policies in force, the agency’s growth has been a team accomplishment.

And the goal isn’t simply to become bigger. It’s to continue building an organization where customers are taken care of, talented people can build meaningful careers, leaders have room to grow, and the team continues raising the standard for what an insurance agency can be.

Farmington isn’t simply where Wyatt opened his first agency. It’s home.

It’s where he was born and raised, where he built his businesses, where he invests in real estate, and where he and his wife, Karissa, are raising their three daughters.

Today, The Mace Agencies operates on a much larger scale than it did in 2018, but those local roots remain an important part of its identity.
